Mt. Hood YMCA offers multiple camps in the Summer. Check below for more information, including registration.

Acting Camp
Ages 7– 14
Dates: July 14 – 18
Location: Clear Creek Middle School
10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., $45.
This camp is a mix of dramatic, comedic and improvisational acting. Ms. Cynthia Schwell has an extensive background in teaching the fundamentals of acting.

Adrenaline Camp
Ages 10 – 14
August 11th – 15th (This week is Full)
August 4th – 8th (space available)
Multiple Locations, $80.
Prepare to get your heart pounding and your muscles moving! Every day you will participate in a new activity: dodgeball, lasertag, paintball, ultimate frisbee and on Friday a refreshing swim.

Baseball Camp
Ages 8 – 13
Dates: July 7th – 11th
Main City Park 9:00 a.m to 11:30 a.m, $45.
Learn baseball fundamentals from an experienced instructor. Bring your glove and a hat and lets play ball!

Basketball Girls & Boys Camp
Ages 7 – 14,
July 7th - 11th Location Clear Creek Middle School. 9 a.m. – 12 noon. $45
July 14th - 18th Sweetbriar Elementary 9 a.m. - 12 noon. $45
August 18th - 22nd Location TBA (we are hoping for Clear Creek Middle School.) 9 a.m. - noon. $45
Emphasis on learning the fundamentals and rules of the game. Drills and scrimmages.

Flag Football Camp

Ages 6 – 11
July 14th – 18th (This week is full.)
Reynolds High School. 9 a.m. – 12 noon. $45.

August 18th - 22nd (space available)
Location TBA
Everyone is welcome to learn the fundamentals of Flag Football. This sport is one of our most popular in Fall and Spring.

Golf Camp (full, please call to be placed on waiting list)
Ages 9 – 12
Dates: July 21st – 25th
The Children’s Course. $45.
This 4 day camp will teach not only golf skills but some life skills as well. We will take the kids to The Children’s Course located in Gladstone, a non-profit organization that has knowledgeable caring instructors. Time and place to meet will be determined when registration closes.

Paintball Tuesdays
Ages 10 – 14
2 Sessions! June 24, and August 19th. Held at Portland Paintball 12:00 – 2:30 p.m. $40 each session. Get your paintball on at the largest indoor field in Oregon! Get ready to experience this sport with a variety of exciting games. All equipment is provided, just bring your game face!

Laser Tag Thursdays
Ages 10 – 14
2 Sessions! June 26th, and August 21st. Held at Lazer Planet
12:00-2:30 pm  $40 each session.

Soccer Camp
Ages 7 – 12
July 14th – 18th
Reynolds High School. 9 a.m. – noon. $45

August 18th - 22nd
Location TBA
9 a.m. - Noon. $45
Fun and fast paced, everyone is welcome to come learn individual and team skills.

Survival Camp (full, please call to be placed on waiting list)
Ages 8 – 12
July 7th – 11th
Camp Collins, $70. 
Meet at Gresham Library at 8:15 a.m. YMCA vans leaves promptly at 8:30am returns to Library at approximately 11:30 a.m. Learn a variety of skills with our veteran instructor. You will learn how to make a fire with only one match, read a map and compass, and everything else needed to survive in the great outdoors, with an overnight stay Friday. Includes compass, signal mirror and safety whistle.

Tennis Camp
Ages 8 – 14
July 21st – 25th 
Time:  9 a.m. – 11:00 a.m.
Location: Tennis Courts at Gresham High School.
$45.
Learn tennis from an instructor who loves the game and has an abundance of experience. She is ready to pass on her enthusiasm.

Volleyball Camp
Ages 8 – 14
July 7th – 11th
Time: 9 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.
Clear Creek Middle School $45.
Bump, set and spike your way through this camp designed to let you experience one of our most popular sports. Learn the basics and come back to play in our league this fall.
